The Bluelab Truncheon measures the electrical conductivity of your nutrient solution through electrodes on the bottom end. The measurement is then displayed on a row of LED’s, even visible in daylight. It is possible to calibrate the truncheon in all the popular scales (CF, EC and PPM). The electrodes are protected by a slotted plastic shroud, this ensures they have great longevity.
The Bluelab Truncheon will automatically turn on when it is dipped into liquid and turned off when removed from liquid, essentially saving battery. The innovative, pre-calibrated truncheon is equipped with temperature compensation to ensure accuracy.
